what are the benefits of wearing sunscreen at a young age?

i’m 13 & my mom bought me neutrogena healthy defense sunscreen/moisturizer. the thing is, i’m acne prone, so would this clog my pores?

also, would it help my acne marks? i have some from previous pimples.
